By downloading, installing, or using Tides ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Suibhne Apps ("we", "us", "our").
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Tides is a personal tracking and reference tool that provides cycle phase predictions, mood logging, and informational content about the menstrual cycle. It includes an optional "Spicier Content" mode which presents information and suggestions in a comedic, tongue-in-cheek tone intended for entertainment purposes.
The app is designed for users aged 12 and over.
Tides is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content within the app — including phase predictions, symptom descriptions, hormonal information, and all suggestions — is provided for general informational and entertainment purposes only.
Cycle predictions are estimates based on average cycle lengths and the data you provide. They are not clinically accurate and should not be used as a basis for medical, contraceptive, fertility, or any other health-related decisions.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice. If you have concerns about your health or the health of someone you care for, speak to a doctor.
Access to Tides requires an active auto-renewing subscription, offered on a monthly or yearly basis. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
Where a free trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription. Pricing is displayed in your local currency as set by Apple's App Store pricing tiers.
All data you enter into Tides — including profile information, cycle dates, mood logs, and notes — is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us or any third party. You retain full ownership and control of your data at all times.
You can export your data at any time from the Setup tab. You can permanently delete all data using the "Wipe everything" option in the Setup tab, or by deleting the app from your device. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

All content within Tides — including text, design, graphics, phase descriptions, tip content, and the comedic "Spicier Content" writing — is the intellectual property of Suibhne Apps and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content within the app without our prior written permission.
Tides is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. Cycle predictions are estimates and may be inaccurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Suibhne Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including but not limited to any decisions made based on content within the app.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law under the laws of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time. We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect when changes were last made.
Continued use of the app after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the app at our discretion, including in cases of violation of these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
Upon termination, your locally stored data will be removed when you delete the app. Subscription management and any refund entitlements remain subject to Apple's policies.
As Tides is distributed via the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall govern with respect to App Store distribution matters. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
